Can a contractor remove a DOB violation?
A contractor corrects the physical condition and provides proof of the work. The formal certification or dismissal is filed with the agency, typically by the owner, an expediter or a registered design professional. We coordinate with them.
What is a certificate of correction?
It’s the filing that tells the city the cited condition has been fixed. It usually includes a description of the work, photos and supporting documents.
Do I still have to pay the penalty?
